Guests are required to check in at the Dhangarhi Gate and complete entry formalities. The stay includes two jeep safaris — one in the evening after arrival and another early in the morning before checkout. Safari timings vary seasonally, generally around sunrise and sunset.
Dhikala offers government-managed Forest Rest Houses (FRH) with basic amenities like clean rooms, attached bathrooms, and dining facilities. Electricity is limited, and mobile network coverage is minimal — making it a true jungle experience away from modern distractions.
Dhikala is famous for tiger sightings, herds of elephants, wild boars, and numerous deer species. You can also spot crocodiles near Ramganga River and a wide variety of birds. The watchtower near Dhikala FRH offers breathtaking panoramic views of the grasslands and river.

The Dhikala Rest House offers clean rooms, attached bathrooms, solar lighting, and a canteen. However, since it’s a forest accommodation, luxury facilities like TV, Wi-Fi, and air-conditioning are not available — maintaining the true essence of a jungle stay.
