Forest Rest Houses
For those wishing to truly immerse themselves in the wilderness of a national park, staying at a Forest Rest House (FRH) within the park offers an unmatched experience. As night falls, the forest comes alive with the calls of wild animals—an unforgettable blend of thrill and wonder. With a torch in hand, you might glimpse countless pairs of glowing eyes just beyond the protective electric fence of the Rest House. Deer, wild boars, and even the occasional tiger can often be seen wandering close to the perimeter, making the experience both exhilarating and humbling. All booking arrangements in Corbett are managed exclusively by forest officials in accordance with the regulations of India’s Forest Department. Please note that we have no influence over allocations for night stays, safari zones, drivers, or naturalist guides, as these are assigned through an automated computerized system. This process ensures transparency and fair distribution of accommodations and safaris across all zones. Rest assured, every zone supports a healthy tiger population, and wildlife sightings are reported to be consistently rewarding throughout the park.
